Es un bizcocho "húmedo" para comerlo con cuchara y como explica Lydia en su blog "dentro del horno se hincha completamente y cuando lo sacamos se desinfla como si fuera un souflé".
Tiene una mezcla de sabores y una textura que lo hacen diferente... Creo que despues de todo lo que os he contado estaréis deseando probarlo.... Podeis coger un trocito!
Ingredientes :
- 125 gr. grated carrot
- orange zest
- 100 gr. ground almonds
- 2 eggs
- 1 pinch of salt
- 100 grams of brown sugar
integral - an orange juice
- 2 tablespoons flour integral
- 2 teaspoons baking powder (I royal)
Traditional Preparation:
1 .- Mix the grated carrots with orange zest and ground almonds.
2 .- Remove the yolks from the whites.
3 .- Beat the yolks with half the sugar until doubled in volume and carefully add the orange juice and carrots and integrate well. 4 .-
the same time whip the egg whites with a pinch of salt. Once assembled, add the remaining sugar and integrate.
5 .- Then mix the yolks with egg whites with encircling movements, and incorporate the flour with baking powder.
6 .- Finally, pour the dough in pan and bake chosen to 160 º preheated for 30 or 40 minutes. Or until you try with a toothpick comes out clean.
